Privacy Policy.

We collect what we need to run Idiongo, store it safely, and let you delete it whenever you choose. This policy explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

When you create a workspace, we collect your name, email, and the workspace details you provide. When you use the product, we collect the content you post, the courses you build, the documents you upload, and the actions you take.

We also collect a small amount of operational data (IP addresses, browser type, and page-load timing) to keep the service running and to investigate abuse. We do not sell this data to anyone, ever.

How we use it

We use the data we collect to:

Run the product you're paying for
Send you operational emails (invitations, password resets, billing)
Improve features by understanding how they're used in aggregate
Investigate security incidents and prevent abuse
Comply with applicable law, including Nigerian NDPR and equivalent regulations in jurisdictions where you operate

We share data only with the processors we need to run Idiongo. As of this version that includes infrastructure providers, our payment processor, our transactional email provider, and our error-monitoring service. A current list is maintained at idiongo.com/subprocessors.

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never share workspace content between workspaces.

Storage & retention

Your data is stored in encrypted form on infrastructure provided by reputable cloud vendors. Each workspace's data is row-level isolated in our database, with the workspace ID enforced at every API route and file path.

We retain data for as long as your workspace exists. When you delete a workspace, all associated data is purged from our active systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.

Your rights

Under Nigerian NDPR and equivalent regimes, you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Export your workspace content in a portable format
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for any optional processing

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@idiongo.com. We respond within 30 days.

AI & your data

Idiongo's AI features (Sentinel moderation, the AI Course Generator, and Idiongo Tutor) process workspace content to produce their output. We never use your content to train a shared or third-party model. Your knowledge base, your courses, and your messages stay yours.

Documents you upload to the Knowledge Base are embedded and stored in a vector index scoped to your workspace only. They are never accessible to another workspace, never sent to a third-party fine-tuning pipeline, and are deleted on request.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: strictly necessary ones for authentication, and analytics cookies (used only in aggregate) for understanding traffic. We do not use advertising cookies.
